Welcome to Maine and nearby Canada!

Maine, New Brunswick and nearby Quebec form a wonderful area which is perfect for a fulfilling, curing vacation. On this site I would like to share my passion for this area of the world.

Below and on the other sites you get a feeling about the tremendous experiences you can have in Maine and nearby Canada. Many beautiful places are a bit off the beaten track and can only be found with the help of locals. The same applies with hotels. Feel free to email me for questions.

Explore spectacular views, scenic drives, animal sightings and outdoor sports in the most beautiful places mother nature has to offer: The Bay of Fundy with the greatest tides in the World, Saint-Lawrence Stream, Acadia National Park, Campobello National Park and Baxter State Park to name only a few.

See eagles, whales, moose, deer and puffins all over the place as you are hiking, river-rafting, skiing, snow-mobiling, kayaking, canoeing, zip lining or climbing in majestic Eastern North America. Being in this peaceful area where all you can hear is nature is the best way of recovering from stressing jobs.

Enjoy the comfort of cities like Portland, Bangor, Fredericton, Saint John, Quebec-City and others when you take a break from all the adventures. Go outlet shopping, choose from a wide selection of restaurants and go bowling, mini-golfing, to the movies or games.

The US-Canadian border that runs through this region gives it additional thrill. Find out all about the history, the war between the United States and Great Britain and how peace treaties cause houses to stand in Canada and the USA at the same time. Explore North America‘s oddest border crossings and have a little chat with customs officers in the middle of the woods. Visit one of the many museums to see how people used to live here in the old days.

Maine and neighboring Canada can be reached easily by airplane: fly to Boston, New York, Toronto or Montreal and take a bus or rent a car. Or fly directly to Bangor, Fredericton, Saint John or Quebec City.
